I have to put in my $.02.

I have come to LM_NET with all kinds of questions in this, my first year as
a media specialist.  I have received many gracious responses to my
questions and comments.  When I've replied with a comment or suggestion,
those, too, have been well-received.  As with any group gathering (and that
is what this is -- a year-long, never ending professional meeting!), there
are topics discussed that I either don't have any interest in or don't have
anything to do with my position.  I just hit the 'ol delete key and move on
-- just as I know people do with my messages -- maybe even with this one!
As with any group you join, give it awhile to either prove or disprove
itself.  LM_NET has certainly proven itself to me -- Irish soup, IBM
computers, and squirrels notwithstanding.
