A little while ago someone was wondering where librarians go when they leave for other professions. While looking for something else (isn't that always the way?) I stumbled upon an interesting site, Wired West, the Web Journal of the Special Libraries Association Western Canada Chapter. http://www.sla.org/chapter/cwcn/index.html Their back issues include these interesting articles: Emerging careers for librarians, Part I http://www.sla.org/chapter/cwcn/issue13/car1-13.htm Part 2 http://www.sla.org/chapter/cwcn/wwest/v1n1/wright11.htm -- Jackie Corrigan, Library Technician George Waters Middle School/St. James Collegiate Institute Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada Mailto:jcorriga@mbnet.mb.ca =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
