<I recently received a flyer describing a Childrens Literature Workshop
<"Whats New in Children's Literature and How to Use It In Your Program"
<given by Dr. Peggy Sharp. It is under the auspices of Bureau of
<Education
<and Research. Have any of you ever attended one of these seminars? Is it
<useful for a K-8 librarian?

I attended my first Peggy Sharp workshop in January.  It was WONDERFUL ad
well worth the money.  She reviewed many of the new titles, gave some
teaching ideas, and followed with her list of the 10 best titles.
I think it is geared more towards elem. than secondary
librarians/teachers.
