ELEM: biographies suitable for 2nd grader

My son, who is in second grade, has to read a biography of a famous person.
 The book must be 60 or more pages in length.  He reads very well--at
approximately 3rd to 4th grade level.  Does anyone have any
recommendations?

The biography selection here is, unfortunately, pathetic  (and mostly in
braille or on tape), and his school (a private school) does not have much
of a library.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
