Need ideas 2 requests

Dear WONDERFUL PEOPLE,

 1.   Remember all those wonderful saying that your parents or
grandparents would use.  Like a "Stitch in Time Saves Nine."  or "Early
to Bed, Early to Rise, Makes you healthy, Wealthy and Wise."  I need
your contributions to my list.

2.  A picture book with the main character a proper little old lady.  Or
one that could be fudged in that direction.
