Gen: Required Summer Reading Lists

One of our administrators asked me if I knew of any school districts that had
required summer reading lists.  So far, I have not found any.  He was mostly
interested in grades 2-8.  If anyone can give me some information, I would
greatly appreciate it.  TIA.
