My principal has received an invitation from the Computer Curriculum Corporation to attend a seminar to "preview Computer Curriculum Corporation's new technology-based solutions for K-12". The invitation goes on to use terms that indicate it is particularly targeted at Texas schools (like "improving student performance on the T.A.A.S.". I looked at their website and it appears to be an internet based system (assuming that what I saw is the subject of the seminar). They appear to be a subsidiary of Simon & Schuster. Do any of you use their system? What do you think of it? Would you spend a day of your Spring Break with them? -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Melissa Davis Librarian Splendora Middle School Splendora I.S.D. 26175 FM 2090 Splendora, TX 77372 Internet: mbdavis@tenet.edu PHONE: (713)689-2853 mbdavis@lcc.net FAX: (713)689-8702 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
