TECH: Receipt Printers

The first time I sent this it escaped from me without a subject.  Sorry.

I use SIRSI for my automation system on a Mac.  I have a GUI screen.
Anyway, I've been looking for a receipt printer that will work with my
system.  I purchased a Star Micronics SP200 Series printer, which the
vendor told me would work with a Mac.  I cannot find a printer driver to
work with the thing.  Star claims they don't make one,  and then referred
me to a third party vendor who would sell me one for another $50, and that
vendor isn't even certain that theirs will work.  My last resort is that
the vendor I purchased the printer from is contacting one of their
competitors to see if they can come up with a solution!  Has anyone out
there tried to make a similar thing work?  I'm ready to ship the thing back
and continue rubber stamping due dates...
