It is a MARVELOUS world atlas with wonderful historical aero photographs (same area over time). DVD II drives are CD-ROM compatible, so you will be able to play current CDs in those drives until you have more DVD-specific programs. And Gateway will now ship DVD drives in their educational units. Compaq and Dell are not yet shipping DVD for educational units.
