GEN: Need Poetry Grant Idea?

A colleague is writing a small grant ($250) to be used with a poetry
theme and 8th graders.  Any ideas?  Some ideas extended so far:  coffee house 
readings, tour of local book publisher, poetry workshop with area poets in 
attendance.
