Req: MS Lammis table

Dear LM_Netters;

        Our 7th graders are reading A Day No PIgs Would Die by Robert Newton =
Peck.  In the story, Robert is needing a cut stitched and is laid on a =
lammis table.  The kids want to know what "lammis" means.  I've searched =
high and low....
