Re: Dept. Chairs

There are no dept. chairs for media specialists in my school district either.
We have asked for recognition with each teacher association contract
negotiation since I've been teaching. (8 years)  I don't see the situation
changing in the near future either. Some times it's a mixed blessing.  When
other teachers are required to attend meetings we (4 of us) can meet when we
need to, or use the time for prep.
