For a March display we sometimes put green books from all areas of the DDS in a display case that has for its center 4 large brown paper sacks(bags) that have Information is our bag written on them in green letters. Green laminated shamrocks are placed around the case. We have a permanent display in another case that we put up when we automated that has a map of the world as seen throung a large picture window. The window is 3 paned and arched at the top. OVer this arch we put Your Window to the World. Under this window is the name of our network written in this manner: Logan View Information Network Center Each month we change the first letter of each line, L,I,N,C,to correspond with a color that "fits" the month. This month of course it is green. Garlands have been purchased over time with shamrocks, leaves, pumpkins, hearts etc. to help decorate this case. Laminated colored shapes are used as needed to help decorate, and Items to extend the theme--flowers, pictures statues, pompoms(August is a wlecome back and all kinds of school related items are inthe case), poems mounted on colored paper. This is a quick display, appreciated by students & faculty and extends one of our messsages to our school.
