I posted a similar message yesterday to the whole group.  Today I would =
love to hear from media people from just the state of Minnesota.  I will =
post a hit if I get enough responses. This is the problem:

In our school district, department heads receive an additional stipend for =
their extra duties; budgeting, ordering supplies, supervising others,  =
attending extra meetings,etc.  All departments except media receive this =
stipend.  Media does not, because as my principals and superintendent =
stated "...Media is viewed differently."    The union rep. has asked me to =
 find instances in other districts  in which media department heads are =
considered on equal status with other teachers.   TIA
