TECH: Fortress, etc.

Does anyone else have problems with Fortress freezing up your
computer, not printing, or giving Windows errors while in Windows 95?
 It drove me crazy so I took it off my machine.  Is there any advice
out there.  Our computer specialist says he does not like where it
hides in the memory of the computer.
