Tech hit: Marking CDs

I am still working on the final solution to this problem but enough people have 
asked for a hit on this I thought I would post something.  Most of the people who 
replied stated that they use Sharpies.  Unfortunately that is what we are using.  I 
even had my E. A. show me the marker she was using. Yes, it is a Sharpie and yes it 
wipes clean off if you use denatured alcohol.  Someone pointed out that alcohol 
will remove just about everything, I didn't think of this though we use it a lot 
for cleaning. Several people said they use a Pentel marker with good results and 
others said they write on the clear plastic in the center of the CD.  We will try 
both of these and will post another hit if they work for us.
