Hello LM-Netters: Do any of you know of websites for elementary lesson plans for teaching library skills, Caldecott activities, book related activities, etc.? I have found many good sites for storytelling, folktales, puppets, and integrating technology into literature, but not much on activities for picture books. I have emotionally disturbed students in the library for an hour each week so I try to have an activity or game to go along with a story or my teaching. Part of that time is spent at the computer lab, but "story telling time" or "teaching time" ends up being 30-35 minutes because 15 mins. is about as long as they can sit & stay focused at computers. The remainder of the time is spent on book check out. Thanks for your help.
