A relative from Israel will be coming to visit for 2 weeks starting April 7. As the result of a stroke a number of years back, he walks rather slowly. He has asked us to find information about tours to NYC and Washington D.C. "but not for old people" (his words) -- He is around 40 years old. He does not use a wheelchair, and will not for the purposes of the tour, but I don't think he would mind being in a tour that has some people in wheelchairs. I have checked with a friend who has M.S. and she gave me the name of several websites, one of which (so far) has been promising. I also did a search on yahoo, and got some stuff, but most of the tours I've seen are either abroad or out west. I checked some books for traveling for the disabled, but they mostly had info on wheelchair accessibility in restaurants and hotels. So, if you have some information you could share -- quickly! -- I would be very grateful! TIA.
