Someone from Colombia, South America, please respond

Excuse me, group, but I need to get in touch with someone in Colombia,
South America, preferably from Bogata. We just learned that a childhood
friend who is also my brother-in-law's cousin was kidnapped in Bogata,
Colombia, (or just outside the city) by a guerilla group demanding a
ransom. We know he was wounded in the process, but we haven't heard how
seriously. He was a retired Exxon CPA living in Bogata.

I've searched the internet for news but I have not been able to locate
any. If someone in our group is from Colombia will you please respond to
