>I, too, am enjoying this cookbook thread. It is amazing to find that so >many of us share this interest! I have collected cookbooks (over 500) and Hmm. This may be a long shot but one of the things I've long wanted to do is to create a "literary cookbook." Not a fancy kind of thing... but something useful -- or at least fun -- (eg) at the elementary level... Some titles lend themselves naturally to the idea: Wolf Stew, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, The Giant Jam Sandwich... But nearly any title would work: 3 Little Pigs in a Blanket, Lilly's favorite cheese snacks... and so on. I actually started this project once as a web page but ran out of steam trying to do it alone -- I wanted to share a series of favorite titles, one or two simple activities, any web connections, and a recipe that went along with the story. What do you suppose the possibilities are of "us" (the group) collaborating to create an online "literary cookbook" ??? Thoughts??? Anyone interested? I'd be willing to do the html and provide server space, etc.....
