I've created a web page where we can share some ideas... I've received quite a few responses to the "literary cookbook" idea and started saving them all. Some have happily volunteered to help in some way. Others seem interested but aren't quite sure what to do. A couple of ppl shared exactly the kind of idea I'm looking for, ideas such as this: > Another favorite book that would lend itself to recipes and >extended activities is Ann Cameron's, The Stories Julian Tells. I would >love to try a lemon pudding that "tastes like a whole raft of >lemons....tastes like a night on the sea". Those are the ideas my brain began to stumble over. I have a few favorites and I can do the html and technical work. But after awhile my mind went blank... SO... since a number of ppl seem interested, I'm going to go ahead and give the project a try -- a collaborative effort among lm_net folks. To that end, I've put up a quick website for the project at http://lincolncity.org/toc Those who are interested can submit recipes and/or ideas there. Will have to play it by ear from there I guess! Email still works too =D Thanks a lot. This could be pretty neat ! And many thanks to all who've responded so far. -- -- Joni Rathbun | jrathbun@orednet.org -- Monthly Newsletter: Bookmarks @ http://lincolncity.org/bookmarks http://lincolncity.org & http://lincolncity.org/schools -- If you need a vacation you should see the state I'm in! -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
