I collect literary cookbooks. I don't know how many may still
be in print, but they are mostly elementary in nature: Winne
the Pooh Cookbook, Mary Poppins Cookbook, Little House on the
Prairie Cookbook, plus some much older ones. One I especially
like was a pamphlet produced by Starlac Dry Milk and featured a
recipe from each of several famous American novels, i.e. fig
pudding from Tom Sawyer, etc. I "read" much more than I "cook".
