This is a technology question from a non tech librarian. We have had 2 Macs in the library on line with an ISDN line for some time now. Recently we had to change the computes (put more powerful ones in and give the 580s to individual teachers) and we downloaded the hard drive onto zip disks and then loaded the zip disks back onto the new computers. We were able to get the main computer operating both with the net and email pretty easily but the second computer is giving some problems. We configured the MacTCP page and we think we have the same information all the way through for both computers. But the second one will not go on line. Any ideas? from Helen Dittmer, Redwood Day School librarian, 3245 Sheffield, Oakland, Ca <rds@dnai.com> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
