Dear group, My wife is thinking about automating her small Catholic library. I want to research all the options for her. She has a price quote from Follett. I want to know if I can purchase a circulation program without the "excellent customer service." that the big guys provide. For example can I buy a program for $100.00 that I can enter the data myself, print barcodes, and get parents to label the books? I am not saying that I won't advise my wife to go with one of the big services, just that I want to know if the option is there. Has anyone heard of software like this?
