Dear Everyone: More and more of my staff members are starting to ask for my help to use the Internet in their classroom. (Yea! The blood, sweat, and tears are finally paying off!) My current quest is to find some websites that give information about mythology--mainly information about gods and goddesses (biography-type). Here is the assignment background: I have a group of TAG students who will be researching a god/goddess as well as some current social issues. After completing research on these different topics, the students are going to "toga up" and portray a god/goddess who will give advice to the mortals about their problems. I have no idea how this will work, but we're going to have a good time! :-) Please send any websites that you know of that would give us some good info for our mythological (?) quest! I have the "Nine Planets" website which has some good info and integrates well into our science curriculum. In case this interests you, the website is http://seds.lpl.arizona.edu/nineplanets/nineplanets/nineplanets.html Thanks in advance!
