Beginning internet suggestions

I have been invited to present a workshop (gulp) which we have titled
"Taking baby steps...Starting to use the Internet in an Elementary
School."  Well, now that I have agreed to do this, does anyone have any
ideas?  Suggestions?  Sites I should highlight?  Should I concentrate on
lessons for staff or students?  As always, your wonderful input is
greatfully appreciated.
