"If a child lives with..." quotation needed

I have a teacher who needs the quotation about "if a child lives with
criticism, he learns to be criticial; if a child lives with tolerance, he learns
to be tolerant", or something to that effect.  I know that's not much to go
on, but if anyone recognizes this and could share it with us (as soon as
possible, of course), we would be VERY grateful!
