Siewert" <snookles@greenhills.net> Subject: REF: E-less novel (recent) A few years ago I remember hearing on NPR a review of an interesting novel. It was an experiment where the author tried to write a complete book using real English words, but without using the most commonly used letter in the English language, "e". Does anyone remember this or know where I might look? It seems like the main character's name was Mr. Vowl. The experiment has been done before, but I'm looking specifically for this recent one, because the reviewer said that the story was actually worth reading. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- Karl G.
