Re: Newbery Committee: Judy Freeman In Texas in July

I would also like to extend my congratulations to Judy Freeman. She is an
excellent choice, and will do a great job as a member of the Newbery
committee. We were pleased to find out recently that Judy will be coming
to Texas through the Bureau of Education & Research - July 7 in Dallas and
July 8 in Houston.

I was able to hear one of her presentations in New Jersey a few years ago,
and it was one of the most valuable I've attended. I would highly
recommend it, as well as her terrific books. We have thoroughly enjoyed
_Hi Ho Librario_ with accompanying CD at my school this year.
