Happy May 1st from Florida!

The new weed of the Month web pages on the topic of
biographies have been posted at the following URL:
http://www.sunlink.ucf.edu/weed/

Be sure to also read the comments about biographies from
lm_netters Joan Kimball and C. Ellen Wickham which are
linked to the weed pages. We have also included links to
two fun and informative web sites related to biographies:
The Biographical Dictionary, and Nom de Guerre.

Since many Florida schools close for the summer in late May,
and everyone is busy with end of the year activities,
housekeeping chores, etc., Weed of the Month will be on
_summer vacation_ til next September. We thank the many
lm_netters who have contributed titles, comments, and
suggestions to Weed of the Month since last September. We
would _love_ to have additional collaborators to work with
us on this project. If you are interested, please email me
at the address below. We will be working over the summer to
prepare topics for Fall, so if you have email access during
the summer and want to help out, let me know!

Remember, all the previous Weed of the Month topics are
still on the web for your use:
Space & Astronomy, Native Americans, Africa, Europe,
Careers, Diseases, Dinosaurs, and Cookery.

Subject: thank you for the answers

Thank you so much to everyone who responded to my question about women
in the field of research. The person I was looking for was Carol
Kuhlthau. You'll be pleased to know she is the answer I chose. Thanks
again.
