Duke University - Climate

The nest will be empty in the fall as my youngest heads off to Duke
University.

Being Michiganians, we don't know whether to pack fans or an ice
chest for our son when we deliver him to Duke in August!  Can anyone who lives in 
the area
tell me about humidity and temperatures in Raleigh-Durham? Are the
campus buildings airconditioned? TIA.
