SEC: Civil Rights history

We have a student researching the Civil rights movement of the 1960's
she's specifically looking for information on the incident where the
three voter registration workers were found murdered in the south.  The
date is June 21, 1964.  I've looked in all the basic sources - where
else can I tell her to look? Any ideas?
