Does anyone have information or experience with using recent non-Pentium
non-Intel brand chips in PCs? Our tech. experts want to set specs to
purchase only clone chip machines which are cheaper, but will they run all
the following together and more, without gremlins? MS Internet explorer.
MS Office 97, Microsoft Exchange, Norton AntiVirus, Pro Comm plus, CD-ROM
enc.. such as World Book & Grolier, indexes, etc. Any network problems
with any specific ones?
(being looked at are non-Pentium/Intel 200's or better with 4-6 gig HD,
32xCD or better) Specific problems & non-brand brands with problems would
help. Thanks.
