Librarian's Venting

Hi,
 Actually there have been a few librarian movies made. The most recent
one I remember is the Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag a silly movie but kind
of cute.
I thankfully am recogized by my colleagues as the professional, but the
students often as they approach the desk will ask the first adult they
see. My clerk if she cannot answer the question then turns it over to
me. The students know me as the teacher librarian, but they just want
their questions answered. They have even asked salespeople when they
have been in. Unless we wear a label stating who we are, I think we all
look alike to the kids. I'm just glad I have the degree because then I
get paid the big bucks!
