ELEM: K-3 reading

Portladn Public Schools is looking at several reading
programs for K - 3 classrooms, prior to adopting one
or several for the coming school year.

I would like to know what experience you have had with any of
these five programs -- the good, the bad and the ugly:

        SRA Open court
        McMillan-McGraw Hill
        Silver Burdett & Ginn
        Wright
        Scholastic

wisdoms I've gleaned to send to the teachers and librarians in
