If you do not post a hit, I would love to hear replies. My school has
the rule that if the video does not come from our library, it must be
approved by an administrator or department chair. But everybody ignores
and does what he/she wants. As of today we have a "situation" stemming
from someone showing a video that elicited angry parent calls. I am not
even sure what the consequences are supposed to be or what actually will
be done. Butout AP said he may tell me to ask the teacher for a signed
"approval" before giving him a TV and possibly to report that he got the
equipment. The more I think of that the more it makes me
uncomfortable. I do not like being in this position. Want to have
rapport with all teachers and not be watchdog. I wonder if I am should
voice my concerns about being put in this position. To me, it should be
between the teacher and his supervisors. If he cannot be trusted, or
they cannot be in charge, then I think there is an additional problem.
Or not??? --MA
