Why get your degree?

I've been following the thread on aides/certified LMS with interest.  I
have the opportunity next month to speak to a group that consists of many
teachers working in the library who have not become certified as a school
librarian because it isn't required in New York.  My talk is going to focus
on "The Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Get Your Degree."  I'd love to hear
any suggestions and will post a HIT.
