Summer Sch. lib w/o books

Our Summer School this year will be held in an Middle School. Their
library has almost no books we can use for classes. Any suggestions of
projects we can do which don't rely exclusively on books or computers?
Maybe techniques of book reviews, project work on material the kids
bring in, etc? I'd appreciate any suggestions.
