Hit: Biography sites

        First, let me apologize for taking so long to post these sites.
        Second, let me tell you that my criteria was not to list the large
number of very good sites.  I tried to find good sites and sites with a lot
of links.
        There are the sites, in no particular order:

        www.biography.com
        Biography.com
        This is an excellent site.  It has a search box to enter names.  It
has a "Born of this day" box.  It links, of course, to Biography Magazine, etc.

        www.s9.com/biography
        Biographical Dictionary
        This is also an excellent site.  Many, many names are located at
this site.  You can search by name, keyword, and date.  The entries are
very, very short.  It has about 25 links to other sites.

        Michigan Electronic Library, Reference Desk
        This is also an excellent site.  This site links over 50 sites.  I
thought "Find-A-Grave" was interesting (right time of the year).

        www.alltogethernow.org/mp/109.htm
        All Together Now Mellow Pages, Reference, Biography
        A good site.  Four links to excellent sites.

        www.homeworkcentral.com/biography
        209.67.0.207/cfdocs/hmsm2
        Homework Central, Biography
        A good site.  Lots of links to sites.

        www.pbs.org/history/bios.html
        PBS History, Biographies
        A good site.

        Believe me there were many, many good sites on the Internet.  I have
tried not to make this a comprehensive listing.  But, a listing of a few
sites to bookmark on your computer to lead you to good sites.
