I just read the HIT on tornado drills. One of the responses said that the tornado was over quickly. Because I live in tornado country I would like to say if the conditions are right many tornados may form at the same time. At my school a couple years ago tornados were sighted just as the students were boarding the buses. We had 700 students lining the halls in our middle school high school building because the elementary students were brought into the building off the buses. They had boarded the buses earlier at our other buildings. We had to keep them in the halls for two and a half hours because there were so many tornados in the air around our school. Lucky, none of them touched down near the school, but several touched down within several miles of the school.
