TARGET: TECH-CHAT ROOMS

We are considering setting up chat rooms via an intranet and the internet.
If you have already had this experience, could you please enlighten me as
to number of hours (person hours) it took to get it physically ready to go.
Once the first one was in place, would a second one be relativiely easy to
set up?  What software did you use and what was the cost?  Thanks for any
help you can give me in this arena.  Ruie
