Odile,
All of my elementary media centers use Scholastic Book Fairs just because we do
get more for our students. Scholastic offers options as to how you will redeem
profit: you can choose money, books, or a combination. Also, if you choose
books as part of your profit, you can choose the books from the book fair or
order from their catalogs (other companies do not do this). Scholastic also
gives you better profit if you book a year in advance or hold two book fairs a
year.

I'm sure I probably know other reasons, but I have to go to a meeting. I hope
this helps.
