TECH: Restricting minutes on a station

Dear LM_NETters

Soon I will be going from 2 student workstations to 8.  I have had trouble
with one student getting on the computer and staying there.  How do you
handle this?  Have you tried timers?  Have you tried log sheets for time
spent?  How do you keep up with monitoring their time, work, and all the
other things we must do?

Any suggestions?
