Does anyone know of any research or have an opinion about the ratio of workstations (in a media center) to students in a school? I would like feedback concerning different size and types of schools, elem - high school. How many workstations need to be dedicated to card catalog? research(internet, databases, CDROMs)? whole class projects? Should they be together as a lab or distributed in sets or both? I would like responses concerning networks or stand alones. Thanks!
