GEN,SEC:Encyclopedia for World Geography?

I am looking for an encyclopedia that would be good to use for the country
reports when the World Geography and Foreign Language classes do research.
I really liked the one from Marshall Cavendish, but it went out of print
already.  Is anyone using a recent or new one that they like for geography,
culture, history, etc. Thanks.  Nancy Bross, Librarian
