Thanks for SSR research suggestions

I am so sorry for the delay  in thanking those people who were kind
enough to respond to my cry for help.  Everyone provided me with something
useful in my research or helpful support.

My hope was to thank each one individually but there are many and my class
and apaper and research are quite time consuming.

I hope this group thanks will suffice.
