Target: Crane reading series

Dear Friends, My principal came to me yesterday and asked me to track
down a reading program called Crane reading program. She saw it a few
years ago and wants to know if it still exists. She remembers it being a
type of basal reader series. I contactd Crane publishers and they never
heard of it so I am asking you. Has anyone heard of this program or have
any information about it please let me know. Thanks very much.
