Gen:Last line of book

I just received a new book titled _Waterman's Boy_.The last page is glued
to the back.  The last line I have is "You want to be a scientist, like Mr.
Watchman?" asked Duke.  Records show that there are 170 pages.  Seems as
though I'm missing a line  or two.  If that's the case, I need to return
the book. Can someone verify this for me?  Thanks.
