challenged materials

We all need to be aware of challenges to materials.  When they arise, the =
very best place to ask for help is ALA.  Visit the web site and contact =
the Information Freedom office.  An e-mail to this office will bring help =
with in a matter of hours.  I have had several challenges in the last few =
months and when I have contacted the office, I received reviews and =
information about the books by fax.  This has helped to present the =
material in the best possible light, show professional reviews, and answer =
questions the parent had had about the material.
