The is the compilation of sites I received. Thanks to all who contributed!
My fifth graders are having a ball learning about Native Americans on the
web!

Charlotte's Web - Native Americans

Here are a few I found while doing a similar search:

I put together a list of internet resources for my 5th graders last year
for a project we were doing dealing with Pueblo Indians (and their
ancestors) in the American Southwest. It is at
http://www.voicenet.com/~srussell/Casaresources.html

Try the following site for Native American Links on the Web:

http://www.ameritech.net/users/macler/nativeamericans.html
********************************************************
http://www.germantown.k12.il.us/html/intro.html

It is a site prepared by sixth grade teachers, and first it explains what
is meant by a Culture, then divides the tribes by 5 major cultures (on a
map), then takes the 5 cultures (Northeastern Woodlands, Plains, etc.) and
gives a lot of information on each culture--food, housing, religion, etc.
There are a few links from there as well as the information they give, but
the site itself contains enough information for the type of project our
students are doing.

We also tried using Yahooligans and searching for either Native American or
the specific tribe, such as Anasazi, but mostly found museums or pictures.

There are two sites we have used:
         http://www.americanindians.com
         http://www.texasindians.com

"Our school web page has links that may help. The URL is listed below.
When you get there, select "Curriculum Links". Just below the
"Curriculum Links" in a new section called "Special Links" look for
"Multicultural" and then "Native American". Sorry that the path is so
confusing, but we just did some rearranging and haven't worked out the
kinks yet."

One site geared to children is the wonderful ALA 700+ Great Sites for
Children. It is located at
http://www.ala.org/parentspage/greatsites/amazing.html
Click on People past and present 1 and then scroll down to the section US
History-General. Especially in "N" for Native American are a number of
sites with many links. Have fun.
